FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
We do not bill insurance for services; however, HSA/FSA cards are accepted, and we can provide an itemized receipt upon request.
Medical necessity forms are only completed when receiving prescription-based medications.
Our Weight Loss Membership allows eligible clients to use their insurance for brand-name GLP-1 medications, depending on their plan’s approval.
Is a consultation required before booking an IV infusion?
All IV clients complete a medical intake screening and have a brief consultation at the start of their appointment to ensure treatment safety and suitability.
Clients with complex health histories may email clinicmanager@dripstation-dmv.com prior to booking so our medical director can review their information and advise appropriately.
How many IV infusions can I receive in one appointment?
Clients may book one IV infusion per visit, as administering multiple drips at once may not be medically necessary or safe.
If you have malabsorption concerns or specific medical needs, our providers can design a customized infusion plan.
Do you offer packages or memberships?
Yes. We offer general wellness memberships, laser hair removal memberships, and multiple vitamin injection packages tailored to routine care and savings.
Members receive exclusive pricing, referral perks, and seasonal benefits.
Is a consultation required for weight loss medication?
Yes. A medical consultation is required before starting any prescription weight loss medication, including phentermine, GLP-1 therapy, to evaluate safety, dosing needs, and medical eligibility.
Vitamin injections and fat-burner shots do not require a consultation and can be booked at any time.
Do you prescribe Phentermine or GLP-1 injections?
Yes. Clients may book a Phentermine Consultation or GLP-1 Weight Loss Consultation to discuss prescription options, risks, side effects, and individualized treatment plans.
How quickly will I feel results from IV hydration or vitamin injections?
Hydration and symptom relief may be felt within minutes to hours, while metabolic or cosmetic benefits (hair, skin, nails, energy) may require consistent treatment over several weeks.
Results depend on individual health status, hydration level, and nutrient deficiencies.
Can anyone receive IV therapy or vitamin injections?
Most healthy adults are eligible, but individuals with medical conditions such as kidney disease, congestive heart failure, pregnancy, or uncontrolled hypertension may require additional evaluation or may not qualify.
All services include a clinical screening to ensure safe treatment.
Can I receive treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Some treatments are safe and some are not. Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding must disclose this to their provider, as certain medications, vitamins, and aesthetic treatments are restricted during this time.
A provider will recommend modifications or defer treatments when medically indicated.
What happens if I have a reaction or don’t feel well after treatment?
Although rare, side effects are possible with any medical treatment. Clients are monitored during their service, and our medical team is trained to manage reactions if they occur.
Do IV infusions or injections hurt?
You may experience a brief pinch with needle insertion; most clients report minimal discomfort. Our trained medical providers use gentle techniques and medical-grade supplies for a comfortable experience.
